Tile & Flooring Installation

At Go Tile & Flooring, we understand that choosing the right flooring for your home is a significant decision that goes beyond aesthetics. It’s about creating a foundation that reflects your style, enhances functionality, and adds value to your property.

Whether you're revamping a single room or giving your entire home a makeover, the process of tile and flooring installation can be both exciting and overwhelming. Our goal is to simplify the journey and guide you through each step, from idea to reality, ensuring your vision is brought to life with precision and care.

Your floor, your style

Every home is unique, and so are the flooring requirements of each room. Begin by evaluating the traffic patterns and usage of each area. For instance, high-traffic areas like the kitchen and living room may benefit from durable flooring options such as ceramic tiles or engineered hardwood. On the other hand, bedrooms and low-traffic spaces might call for more luxurious options like plush carpets or natural stone tiles.

Consider your lifestyle and personal preferences as well. If you love the warmth of wood but prefer a more budget-friendly option, laminate flooring might be a suitable choice. For those seeking eco-friendly options, bamboo and cork flooring are excellent sustainable alternatives.

As you evaluate your flooring needs, take notes on the specific requirements of each room. This will help you have a clear vision when discussing your project with us for your free quote.

Five-Star Reviews

The Art of Tile and Flooring Installation

Tile and flooring installation is an art form that requires precision, skill, and an eye for detail. At Go Tile & Flooring, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our expert installers, who understand the intricacies involved in bringing your flooring vision to life. In this section, we'll explore the key aspects of the installation process and the techniques that ensure a flawless and long-lasting finish.

The Importance of Proper Subfloor Preparation

The foundation of any successful flooring installation lies in the preparation of the subfloor. Before laying the new flooring material, our team meticulously inspects and prepares the subfloor to ensure it is smooth, level, and free of any imperfections. Unlike many other contractors who are happy to lay down a new floor regardless of the quality (or cleanliness) of the subfloor, we obsess over our prep work because we know it extends the life of your flooring and ensures your home looks its best for years to come.

For hardwood and laminate installations, ensuring the subfloor is clean and dry prevents moisture-related issues and ensures the new floor adheres properly. When installing tiles, the subfloor needs to be perfectly level to prevent any future cracking or lifting of the tiles.

We use the DustRam System’s incredible dust-free grinders and powerful vacuums to ensure that the subfloor is pristine. Then, we’ll test the subfloor’s level and apply self-leveler as needed to give your chosen flooring material the perfect foundation.

The Intricacies of Tile and Flooring Patterns

The layout and patterns of tiles or planks can significantly impact the overall appearance of your space. Our experienced installers are well-versed in various tile and flooring patterns, including herringbone, chevron, basketweave, and more. We are also happy to custom-fit your flooring to match unique wall shapes or trim. For one client, we even inset a beautiful custom circular medallion in their tile floor!

Depending on the size and shape of the room, certain patterns can enhance the illusion of space or add visual interest to a particular area. Our team works closely with you to understand your preferences and advise on the best patterns to suit your design vision.

Mastering the Techniques of Seamless Installation

Achieving a seamless installation is a mark of true craftsmanship. Our skilled installers ensure that each tile or plank is meticulously placed to create a smooth and uniform surface. We often match the veins and colors in marble or stone tiles to create a pleasing design. This attention to detail not only enhances the aesthetics of your flooring but also promotes durability and longevity.

Seamless transitions between different flooring materials, such as tiles and hardwood, are essential for creating a cohesive and flowing look throughout your home. Our team takes pride in delivering flawless transitions that showcase the beauty of each flooring material.

Behind every beautiful floor is the careful selection of installation materials. Our team works with high-quality adhesives, grout, and underlayments that are suitable for each specific flooring material. This ensures a secure and long-lasting bond between the flooring and the subfloor.

Proper grout application is essential for tile installations, preventing moisture penetration and preserving the appearance of the grout lines. Our installers are skilled in grout color selection, helping you choose the best option to complement your tiles and overall design.
